Part 3 : Safe & Responsible Candle UseIt's beyond midnight and everyone should be sleeping, then the fire alarm sounds. We respond "10-18" (code for emergency lights & siren), only to find a family's home destroyed, or worse,... perished. Time and time again, we've seen, first-hand, tragedies like this occur because of carelessness, a false sense of security, or a complete lack of knowledge for safety. All of which could have been avoided by following a few simple safety precautions. 
Candles, no matter how great they smell, no matter how romantic they make you feel, no matter how clean burning they are, or how much serenity they invoke, are still an open flame. Common sense should always be you're first priority when dealing with any open flame. Always, ALWAYS, follow appropriate safety precautions when using candles.
