This is perhaps a little known scent of today, but very well known by the hippies and the 60s! The patchouli aroma is distinctive and reminiscent of an earthy, musky scent popular in that era. Im told it was often used to cover or cleanse the air of otherherbal aromas, and induce that make love not war feeling also popular then.
