The owners of Southern Candle, Randy Whittington and Gary Jordan are trustworthy and reliable….”Scout’s Honor.” The two of them have been and in fact still are involved in Boy Scouts. Randy achieved the rank of Eagle Scout as a young man, which is the highest rank one can attain. As adults, now some 45 years into it, both men are still actively involved in scouts, both are leaders and in fact, Gary has received a Silver Beaver Award. This is an adult recognition given by the National Court of Honor for either many years or service, or great service within the local council. Knowing the owners are upstanding men with high morals and high standards is simply further reinforcement that they will be equally as fair and honest in business practice as in personal practice. They strive for, and attain the best in whatever they do, whether it is firefighting, scouting, or candle making. One of the most important things about us is that we are a Christian based company. Both owners are very active in our respective churches. We are Deacons and serve on multiple boards at our churches.
